After taking in a young bunny and nursing it back to health, this family had high hopes for its future. We’re not sure if those hopes involved being reunited with its family or surviving long enough to start a family of its own, but it doesn’t matter now.
A few moments after the bunny took off into its new life with some initial hesitation, it was tragically cut short for this family when a hawk scooped it up off the ground mid-hop.
If they were trying to teach their daughter about how unpredictable nature can be, we’d say they did a pretty good job. But judging by the shrieks from the mom and the dad trying to hold back laughter, this was the last thing they expected.
