As long as PETA exists, it’s likely they will continue to try their best to come up with a way to get people to either stop hunting or turn on hunters. Unfortunately for them, that day won’t be today.
PETA recently launched a Facebook frame that was created with the intention of showing everyone that hunting is bad. The frame says, “Shoot Selfies, Not Animals” and features a logo of a buck to drive the point home.
It’s not hard to imagine how this backfired on them. But, luckily for us, we don’t have to imagine how it backfired, we can just look at the hilarious examples of how it did.
This obviously is the complete opposite of what they had in mind, but there was never any other way that this was going to turn out. If hunting were about killing the animal and nothing else, they’d probably have some success in turning some people off from it, but it’s about so much more and that’s something an organization like PETA will never understand.
Why choose just one? You can shoot selfies with animals that you also shot! It’s like selfie shooting inception.
