Stuffing a dead deer into a shopping cart and wheeling around Walmart must be a new annual fall pastime.
Jesse Canida brought a deer carcass into a Walmart and attempted to shoplift some beer. He entered the store with the deer and several empty beer cans at 12:20 p.m. Police (and pretty much everyone who had eyes and was in the vicinity) quickly determined he was intoxicated.
Canida had attempted to hide multiple 24 oz beers among other items in his cart and refused to give them back when Walmart employees confronted him.
The police were called and ended up citing and releasing Canida.
If Jesse Canida’s incident of drunkenly stealing beer from a Roseburg, Oregon Walmart while carting around a dead deer sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because this isn’t the first time a dead deer in Walmart has made the news. Just last year, two men were kicked out of a Walmart after carting in a dead deer.
