Think that fish you just gutted would sink to the bottom if it ended up back in the water? It turns out that isn’t always the case. Apparently the whole thing about a chicken running around with its head cut off applies to fish that have been cleaned and skinned. Either that or the zombie virus just started with this fish and we’re all doomed via The Swimming Dead.
In reality, what’s allowing this fish to keep swimming is simple nerve reflexes that are still firing once the fish hits the water – probably because the fish was cleaned really fast and they left the head on.
