If you’ve ever wondered if wearing a bulletproof vest could save your life in the event of a random arrow attack – wonder no more. These guys go through the trouble to test out the effectiveness of the vest in stopping an arrow shot from a compound bow and a crossbow.

The results: the compound bow only penetrated the vest by about a millimeter, if that, but the compound bow would’ve done some serious damage had there been a person wearing that vest and not some person shaped rubber.

Our advice – if you’re going to get show by an arrow – don’t.
