After winning a Triton bass boat at the Big Bass Splash bass fishing tournament, Fred Tillman McMahon did the unthinkable with his prize – he gave it away.
After McMahon learned fellow angler Albert Jenkins had fished the entire event from a dock and not a boat like the rest of his competition, he decided to do something about it.
“I thought I would never do this,” McMahon said. “I feel blessed.”
This guy gave away a boat! A boat! And to a guy he didn’t know anything about other than that he didn’t have a boat and could use one.
Stories about fishermen catching the fish of a lifetime are awesome and all that, but stories like this truly show the sportsmanship and love anglers share for one another.
