Built by Jarrett Bay Boatworks, the 46′ custom “Grander” perfectly shows what custom boat building is all about. This sleek boat provides the perfect setting for a day (or a lifetime) out on the water, catching fish.

Demonstrating yet again what “truly custom” boat building is all about, custom hull 61 features some outright bold design choices, including the dark paint and black tower hardware. The result is an aggressively beautiful tactical vehicle that attacks offshore fishing’s status quo.
Commissioned by Gander Custom Tackle, Jarrett Bay and his team built the boat in Beaufort, North Carolina. The boat is 46 feet long with a 15-foot, 4-inch beam and draws 4.5 feet of water.

The design team wanted to make a boat that could handle any conditions the sea threw at them. “It isn’t even fair to simply call this a fishing boat,” the boats owner said. “The Grander combined with our tackle onboard is the ideal marlin machine.”
Building a boat for lure manufacturers is no small task, they know what they want. Building the perfect storage for the lure and tackle they want is a necessity and it looks like Jarrett Bay took that challenge and beat all expectations. This particular locker sits on the port side of the cabin. But that’s not all. There’s a wet hanging locker and a well-appointed head to port.

“The portside helm is clean and modern with the latest electronics suite from Cat, Garmin, FLIR, iCom and Fusion, according to Fish Track. “The bench seating on the starboard side has ample room for guests and provides more storage space underneath. There is also engine room access from a hatch forward of the helm”
