When there’s a threat at the beach, you can typically stay safe by sticking to land. That rule of thumb doesn’t work out so well when the threat is a wild boar.
Visitors at a beach in Karwia, Poland, had quite the encounter when a wild boar appeared out of the Baltic Sea. The boar appears confused at first as it runs around the sand as people look on. It doesn’t take long before it starts full contact tackling beachgoers to the ground as others scramble to help.
The boar eventually ran off after men armed with poles and other random objects ran it off. Three individuals were treated for injuries to their legs.
