A park ranger with Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo recently took what might be the best selfie we’ve ever seen with two female gorillas he helped rescue as babies.
Mathieu Shamavu, a worker at the park, can be seen posing with the two ladies, Ndakazi and Ndeze, who’re standing upright and giving their best Blue Steel for the camera.
The picture quickly went viral after Shamavu posted it and it isn’t hard to see why!
It’s hard to believe those are both real gorillas that haven’t been edited in any way. But according to the park, these two girls are known for craving the spotlight.
“Those gorilla gals are always acting cheeky so this was the perfect shot of their true personalities,” Virunga National Park wrote on their post.
