Exploring the outdoors is one of the most amazing experiences life has to offer. While that statement is very true, not everything you’ll find in the outdoors will give you life’s best experiences. Like poisonous snakes for instance. Stumbling across one of these could make a great day go bad really quick.
That’s why keeping an eye out for poisonous snakes while out and about is so important. Unfortunately, this picture proves that spotting them isn’t always so easy. In fact, sometimes it’s nearly impossible.
Received this from a fellow HERper this morning. No caption needed, the task was implied: "can you spot the snake?" ? pic.twitter.com/oVkjOm8ufy

Can you spot the danger hiding in plain sight? We didn’t at first and we knew it was there! Just imagine if you were walking on a trail that was mile after mile of leaf covered grounds. You could step on it and never know until it’s too late.
The snake in question is a copperhead, aka Agkistrodon contortrix. This isn’t exactly something you want to stumble across without realizing it’s right in front of you. Remember o always keep your eyes peeled.
Still haven’t spotted it yet? Here’s some assistance:
If y'all haven't found it yet… Copperhead, aka Agkistrodon contortrix. Cute but venomous, so no touchy! ☺️?❤️ pic.twitter.com/pSVMIhFP0o
