A rainbow colored lobster was recently caught by Nova Scotia fisherman. Captain Chad Graham on the Chad & Sisters Two made the catch last month. It quickly went viral.
From the Marine Conservation Society FB page: This is weird! Look what a fisherman going about his business caught off Nova Scotia – a rainbow coloured lobster! He only took a few pix before popping it back in the water at St. Marys Bay because it was less than 82.5millimetres long. Apparently this has been happening there for years, but social media means more of us get to hear about it now!
Graham said her brother took a few quick photos, but then had to toss the lobster back in the water because it didn’t meet Department of Fisheries and Oceans regulations. Fishermen aren’t allowed to keep lobster with a body length less than 82.5 millimetres according the cbcnews.
