An ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle) was doing a deepwater riser inspection on a deepwater drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico and came across… a rather large Tuna!!!
According to the video the riser in the background is nearly four feet across, which could mean this enormous tuna would be 18 feet in length, and 8 feet tall. Regardless of the actual perspective and true size of the tuna, we do know this, it’s a true giant of a tuna. See for yourself!
