Live Shark Found in Florida Swimming Pool

Florida Fish & Wildlife officers had to remove a five foot live blacktip shark from a swimming pool at a condo complex in Hypoluxo, Florida. The Sun Sentinel reports the creature was found swimming recently at the Mariner’s Cay condominiums.

A woman reportedly found the shark after two men ran out of the pool area. The shark was immediately removed from the pool and set free in the Intracoastal Waterway, according to the FWC.

“We’re not releasing any photos or additional information just yet, because it’s still an active investigation,” the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) told Earth Touch News. “We’ll be updating you as the story unfolds.”

FWC will continue to investigate the incident.

When we researched this story further we found this video of a blacktip shark in a pool. The explanation is very vague, but this is exactly how we imagined a Hypoluxo pool shark video would look. Even with very little information over 2-million people have watched this video.
