Komodo dragons. They’re crazy fast and insanely dedicated to watching prey suffer a slow, terrible death. It turns out their venom also makes it impossible for a person’s blood to clot if they’re ever bitten.
Once bitten, their venom basically makes anything unfortunate enough to have it coursing through their veins bleed out. Sounds awful — so why is this guy petting the dragon like a dog?
Fortunately, there is a bright side to the effects of their venom. It could potentially be sued to lead to new medicines that could help with any number of currently incurable diseases.
