It’s always a good idea to make sure the animal you just shot is dead before you approach it. That’s especially true when that animal is a bear.
It’s easy to see why this guy would’ve thought the bear was dead – it fell from a tree after being shot three times. Unfortunately for him, the bear wasn’t quite dead when he approached it and he found out the hard way, after the bear attacked him.
Luckily for the hunter, he only ended up with a few scrapes and not the vicious mauling that could’ve happened.
