It looks like University High School in Orange City, Florida, needs to offer some common sense courses after a student was bitten by a coral snake he took to school.
The 19-year-old student apparently found the snake and took it to the courtyard of the school, where the venomous snake bit him on the knuckle shortly after classes ended.
The student was taken to a Sanford hospital by paramedics.
With coral snakes possessing one of the most deadly venoms of any snake in North America, it’s definitely not something to bring to show and tell.
