If there’s one bad thing about hinting it’s that no matter how much you prepare and how safe you are, you can never account for what some idiot who’s breaking the law is going to do. This video is a prime example of why it’s always important to keep an eye out for what others in your vicinity are up to.
Paul Whitwell and his 14-year-old son recently found out how quickly things can turn from a beautiful day to a life0threatening situation when some road hunters started firing in their direction -you can actually hear the pellets hitting their blind.
In this case, there isn’t a whole lot this father and son could’ve done since these poachers drove up out of nowhere and instantly started shooting at the turkeys they had been eyeing. Luckily they were both unharmed.
Hopefully the culprits were caught. If not, it won’t be long until they are – unless another hunter shoots them first – if they keep pulling stupid moves like this. Stay safe out there.
