Angler Couldn’t Be Any Less Impressed After A Whale Breaches Right In Front Of Him

We would think a fisherman watching a massive humpback whale breach right in front his boat would be something to get excited about. That doesn’t seem to be the case for this salmon fisherman, who had a whale leap from the water right in front of him.

His boat didn’t get smashed, capsized, or splashed, even though it was about 15 yards from his boat. Mostly because the whale fell backward on the way back down.

Smashed boat or not, this guy just doesn’t budge when the whale emerges. He just stands there in a way that looks like this is the 86th whale breach he’s seen that day.

Sure, he slightly moves around, but he does it in such a way that it looks like he didn’t witness what just happened.

Christina De La Fuente Hernandez was aboard the 60-foot Blue Ocean Whale Watch vessel, High Spirits, watching whales when the breach happened and managed to capture some incredible photos.

“I couldn’t see his reaction, but judging by his body language he wasn’t startled or anything,” Hernandez said.

Running for cover would’ve been the first thing on most peoples minds considering how big that whale was. But this angler must’ve had nerves of steel, unless he was so shocked he could barely move his body.
