If there isn’t a saying as to why you shouldn’t get in the way of a giant hungry grouper, there should be.
Grayson Shepard found out the hard way that you’re going to have a bad time if you try to catch a fish a grouper wants. While spearfishing, Shepard was consistently ambushed by the typically gentle giant every time he attempted to spear a fish.
Clearly frustrated by the continuous inconvenience, Shepard kept trying until his spear was so bent from being dragged across the ocean that he couldn’t load it back into his gun.
“I weigh 220 lbs, and it dragged me easily 20 feet or so before letting go,” Mr Shepard told National Geographic.
