Kayaking is a great way to get some up close and personal time with a number of sea creatures – but this is ridiculous! A father and daughter kayaking expedition in Puerto Madryn, Argentine Patagonia turned into something completely unexpected when they came across some whales – believed to be southern right whales. Instead of passing by quietly, one of the whales swam under the duo and lifted their kayak on its back.
This insane once in a lifetime experience is something they’ll definitely never forget. However, had this occurred in US waters, it would have been hard to forget for a different reason entirely since the whales fall under the Marine Mammal Protection Act, which would result in a hefty fine.
