If you’ve been to an aquarium and wondered what it’d be like to sleep in a room surrounded by aquatic life, Airbnb has just what you’ve been looking for. This recently launched underwater bedroom – located at The Aquarium de Paris in France and opened in 1867 – allows guests to spend the night 32 feet underwater while 35 sharks swim around you just a few feet outside.
You’re probably thinking this is something you couldn’t possibly afford, and you might be right. Fortunately for sleeping shark lovers everywhere, Airbnb is giving away a free stay in this submerged bedroom for free for their Night at the Shark Aquarium contest.
Three lucky winners and their guests will get one night in the one-of-a-kind tank from April 11-13. If that wasn’t enough – Fred Buyle, a world record freediver will be your host, along with the aquarium’s team of marine biologists, during this awesome experience. The tour will give insights into the importance of sharks in the ecosystem and how they go about their daily lives.
If you’re concerned about finding the first aquarium ever built, it’s right in front of the Eiffel Tower so it should be easy to find.
