Saving a life is typically one of the last things on someone’s mind when the load up their kayak and head to the ocean – but the world’s a funny place and full of surprises.
This good samaritan was recently kayaking off the coast of Spain when he spotted something in the water. Upon getting closer, he realized it was a sea turtle in distress due to a net wrapped around its head. Without missing a beat, the kayaker scooped up the turtle, pulled out his knife and gently cut the net from around the turtles head before releasing it on its way to swim another day.
