Japanese Whaling Crew Eaten Alive by Killer Whales, 16 Dead: The True Story

The story about a crew of Japanese whalers falling victim to a group of killer whales after a gas leak forced them into the water. According to the original article, 16 crew members were killed and 12 others were injured. Outdoors360 was prepared to link to the story, and provide additional details and information regarding the story, but it turns out there’s more (or less, much less) to this story than originally reported.

DISCLAIMER

World News Daily Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within worldnewsdailyreport.com are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental, except for all references to politicians and/or celebrities, in which case they are based on real people, but still based almost entirely in fiction.

Supposedly occurring in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary, South Eastern Coast of South Africa, this piece of fiction quickly gained many supporters claiming it was an act of karma and the whalers deserved it. While it is most certainly possible for multiple Orcas to kill a group of people, there is simply no truth in this story. With no evidence backing up the incident and all the evidence going against it, we are extremely confident in labeling this story : FALSE.

While there seems to be no shortage of people who not only thought the story was true – many were happy at the outcome and expressed their opinions across various social media platforms – thinking the whale hunters received their “just desserts” or “poetic justice.”

There you have it. A fabricated story simply doesn’t create truth, no matter how many people may actually think the events still occurred. Though this fictitious crew “lives” to whale another day, other whalers might want to take a step back and find new occupations if they’d rather this story not become a reality one day.

Our Conclusion : Definitely not true, not even a little.
