If you happen to have a broken iPhone or yours dropped one too many calls, you may have luck tossing it in the water – with a fishing pole that is.
Apparently the only limit to what can and can’t be successfully made into a lure is your imagination as this guy in Australia shows. After attaching a hook to an old iPhone, he goes out to a beach in Western Australia and fished from shore.
Amazingly enough, he actually got a bite. It’s not clear exactly how long it took to snag a fish but it’s impressive either way – he’s fishing with an iPhone for crying out loud! He ends up with a nice sized Australian Salmon and adds yet another everyday use for the iPhone.
