I said I’d give up fishing the day Aquaman jumped from a helicopter and snagged a marlin – I’m sad, yet slightly excited, to say that day has come.
Matt Watson (the Aquaman in question) isn’t human, that much is certain after seeing how he fishes. In reality, he’s typically a normal fisherman who is known to dabble in ‘stunt fishing,’ which is pretty much what you see below:
Watson says the gannet, an aggressive seabird also known as ‘The Missile Bird’ – was the inspiration for this fish catching method. The fact that he manages to pull it off so flawlessly is absolutely unreal.
I’ll never forget the day that Matt Watson took every single one of my dreams and crushed them. That day was today.
