Just because an animal isn’t a bear, wolf or any other type of animal people commonly fear, that doesn’t mean they want to be your best friend.
This woman in Yellowstone National Park learned that the hard way when she got too close to an elk while trying to get a photo and it let her know her mistake by charging her. She appeared to be okay since it didn’t hit her, but she does appear to have fallen over while running away.
It’s important for people to realize they aren’t in a petting zoo in situations like this, they’re in nature, around wild animals and both are unpredictable.
