A fun afternoon of skiing quickly turned into a terrifying ordeal for Winston Goss and his 15-year-old son at an Idaho resort last Friday. The two were skiing down an ungroomed portion of Brundage Mountain Resort when the boy crashed into a hole after skiing ahead of his father.
Goss caught the incident on camera – which has received over 1.4 million views on as of Wednesday – and posted it to Facebook , warning of the dangers of skiing alone.
‘It’s not very fun seeing your kid face a danger like that. But it could have been a lot worse,’ Vicki Goss, the boys mother who didn’t attend the trip, told Daily Mail Online.
The boys muffled screams can be heard as soon as the father arrives, creating a sense of panic.
It’s not hard to understand why the kid was so terrified since most of his body was wedged into a snowy crevice. Luckily, Goss quickly got him out and the boy was uninjured, if not a little shaken up.
Following a quick break, the father-son duo were back at it again, with the father saying you have to get back on the horse.
