With temperatures hitting record highs hitting nearly 120 degrees in Southern California, it’s surprising they only found one bear in their pool.
Residents caught a playful bear taking a dip in the pool and playing with (or mauling) a foam noodle to beat the heat on Father’s Day. Marilyn Di Filippo originally posted the video to Facebook after recording the furry visitor.
Di Filippo’s daughter, Shannon Lievense, investigated after she noticed paw prints near the pool while visiting her parents. She then witnessed the bear turn a corner and jump into the pool.
“He continued to play around for about 20 minutes. We watched him play with the different rafts, and my baby’s pool toys,” Lievense told KABC-TV
