It takes a brave (or oblivious) turkey to walk straight up to a hunter’s shotgun, while he’s in the middle of a turkey hunt, and start pecking at it. That’s just what happened when this hen approached a hunter at Timber Hills Lake Ranch in Mapleton, Kansas, on May 20, 2016. The turkey, who is said to have no fear of people, may not be doing her kind any favors as you can hear a gobbler approaching in the background.
