A wolf pack was spotted attempting to attack a group of elk during a guided tour on Yellowstone’s Northern Range.
Fortunately for all the elk, the wolves weren’t able to move quickly through the deep snow, despite their best efforts. Even though some of the wolves got close to sinking their teeth into one of the group, they kept being chased off when an elk would charge at them.
It looks like those wolves are going to go hungry tonight. But we’re sure they’ll have better luck next time.
