Surf school instructor David Lyons captured an incredible moment when taking a jet ski for a spin in the Kaikoura Peninsula in New Zealand.
While riding, several orcas followed along as they swam and played in the wake of his jet ski.
The orcas were “totally surrounding us and playing with the wake and bubbles, freely swimming underneath and beside us and slapping their flukes with excitement,” Lyons said.
