An Australian woman’s experience with hand-feeding sharks nearly took a turn for the worst when a shark latched onto her finger.
Melissa Brunning was on a summer trip when she had the opportunity to feed some sharks. At one point, one of the sharks ends up biting a little higher up than Brunning had anticipated and gets her finger. She slightly panics and ends up falling or being pulled by the shark (or a combination of both) as she screams and tries her best to keep from falling into the water.
Fortunately, Brunning managed to get out of the situation with her finger intact after the shark let go.
