The last thing these cyclists expected when they went on an 80 mile pre-race ride was to end up biking for their lives.
While out stretching their legs on their way to the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, they spotted a white ostrich. Most would think that would be the end of the encounter, but the ostrich took off and tried its best to catch them. It managed to keep up at a fast pace of 30mph, but it did eventually give up and let the cyclsits finish out their ride.
Something tells us the Tour de Ostrich might be able to sell some serious tickets.
