As awesome as it’d be to be out on a safari and see all the different animals close up, there’s a limit to how close we’d actually want to be. For the record — being in the same vehicle with multiple cheetahs is getting way close than we’d want to be without some type of insurance policy.
Despite our aversion to being defenseless around cats that could easily kill us, this is pretty incredible. This particular event occurred at Masai Mara in Kenya where interactions like this aren’t uncommon. At least, they used to not be. Now they’re controlled by rangers to avoid dangerous situations.
