You’d think a free crane might have an advantage when trying to steal food from a caged eagle. That’s apparently what the crane thought too but it was very wrong.
The crane starts by sizing up the eagle and attempts a quick grab of whatever it’s eating. It misses the mark the first time, but the eagle clearly shows its ability to quickly size up the crane and trick it into thinking it has a chance of grabbing the food by dropping it right at the edge. The crane wastes no time in going for the bait.
The eagle instantly grabs onto the crane and starts pulling it towards the cage. It looked like it could’ve all been over for the crane but it manages to escape. Next time this crane gets hungry it’ll probably think long and hard before going after whatever an eagle is eating.
