It’s clear the railgun has a future ahead of it with its ability to fire projectiles ate earth-shattering speeds across long distances with pinpoint accuracy. The ability to rapidly fire (in terms of railgun speed) projectiles only further improves their usefulness across the board. Considering how much cheaper railgun ammunition is compared to alternative long-range projectiles, it looks like the railgun will only keep getting improved.
