Bees don’t take kindly to a new queen coming into their colony that they don’t accept. In fact, if given the chance to get near a queen they don’t choose, they’ll attempt to kill it as fast as possible.
A beekeeper gives a demonstration of exactly what it looks like when the bees decide to swipe left on the queen and say bye-bye. He also manages to give this demonstration with a handful of bees in his bare hand without showing an ounce of fear or getting stung.
We’re not sure if they mostly ignore him because they just like him that much or because they hate the queen so much that they can’t waste energy attacking anything else. Either way, we’re just glad we’re not the ones risking an attack from an army of bees.
