This’ll be sure to scare would be beach goers from getting into the water. Billy Skipper was out enjoying a day on the water off the coast of Fernandina Beach, when he spotted something swimming in the distance.
Skipper thought it was a great white by the look of its dorsal fin, but wasn’t entirely sure. Once he got closer he realized his initial assumption was right, as he stared down at massive great white shark that must’ve been around the 15-foot mark.
Great whites may not be as dangerous to people as popular culture would have you believe, but that’s still the last thing anyone wants in their vicinity during a day at the beach or in the water.
