This is a great example of why it’s important to know exactly what how your meat is processed if you don’t process your kills yourself.

Several hunters are regretting their choice for having their deer processed after Texas Game Wardens in Henderson County discovered multiple unprocessed deer that a local taxidermist had left in his front yard.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office investigated reports that several spoiled deer had been left to spoil in his front yard after  his walk-in cooler was removed from his property.

19 deer were discovered in the front yard with 24 deer in total reaching a condition that was no longer safe for consumption. In total, 24 cases for Waste of Game – White-tailed Deer were filed.
