There are tons of people who have risked their lives all in the name of the perfect photo opportunity. With the ever increasing need to post a picture that no one else has to social media, many people are willing to put themselves in danger for another follower.
Take this Chinese man, for instance. The man, named Du, was out hiking with some friends on Jigong mountain when he decided he wanted some pictures at the mountains peak. Though he had several years of free-climbing experience, Du lost his footing when he attempted to hang off the side. He fell off and slid down over 30-feet. Fortunately for him and his friends he sustained only some cuts and bruises, along with a serious blow to his ego.
