Some ideas are so terrible that it should be obvious they shouldn’t be followed through with from the very start. This hot air balloon full of fireworks is one of those ideas.
Not only do they load up a very small basket full of fireworks that’s uncomfortably close to a fire source, but they do it over a crowd of people during a festival in Myanmar.
Unsurprisingly, once the balloon takes off, things fall apart pretty quickly — about 20 seconds after it leaves the ground. The fireworks manage to turn the balloon into a massive fireball that sends the entire crowd into a panic as they run to escape it as fiery projectiles shoot in every direction.
We’d say they probably won’t be doing that again but it looks like this wasn’t the first time…
