If it wasn’t already obvious, ships and villas don’t mix well.
New footage has emerged showing the moment a cargo ship hit a villa last year on July 21, 2015. The villa, located on Turkey’s Bosphorus Strait, was struck by the Sierra Leone-flagged Majed and Randy.
The collision was caused by a rudder malfunction and slightly damaged the ship. Unfortunately for the villa, it didn’t fare so well:
