Captain Mark Quartiano (aka Mark the Shark) caught a different type of great white when he hauled in a kilo of cocaine while fishing 2 miles off the Miami coast easier this week.
While chartering students on a fishing trip from the University of Miami, Mark noticed something floating in the water. Once they brought it onboard it didn’t take Mark – who is retired law enforcement – long to realize what they had found.
“Lo and behold, it was one of those square grouper,” Quartiano said.
This is the first time in four decades on the water that he’s ever made a catch like this.
